About the Artist
“In painting as in life, we operate through modes of visual references to navigate our task and livelihoods. Constantly creating and changing our own realms where a variety of apparitions might coincide in these structural moments. Via social media and handheld devices, we experience the awesomeness that can occur in areas far from our location- changing the idea and notions of our eternal understandings in real time.
These paintings all share a common ground in that they create their own essence of truth; nothing is certain and all shift from one landscape to another opening moments of clarity to challenging perceptions. All employ the sanctity of existence and the mystery therein – from actual moments experienced in my artistic journey to enveloping ideas of wholesomeness, I wanted to create a group of paintings that spoke of contemporary times in all forms of feelings.”
